Whether 3D printing at school, at home or at your place of work it’s important to stay safe. The 3D printing process produces substances that can prove hazardous to your health. From dangerous VOCs to tiny human ingestible micro-particles you should do what it takes to minimise or eliminate your exposure to these substances. Our 3D Printer Safety Cabinets offer a solution to this problem. With a lockable enclosure providing a draft free, humidity-controlled environment for printing, the SC Series cabinets also safeguard against burns and trap hazards in the mechanical parts. Fitted with optional fire alarms and fire extinguishers it enables risk free 24/7 printing. Most importantly the included HEPA Active Carbon filter removes VOCs and micro-particles from the cabinet to keep users and those around them safe.
The SC-02 and SC-03 are optimised for use with Ultimaker 3D printers and as such have a rear opening door to allow for easy changing of the filament on the rear loading Ultimaker machines. Kora have worked hard to ensure that their product line fits the majority of 3D printers in circulation. Working directly with Kora we are now able to offer bespoke solutions for machines that don’t fit in the standard line up. If you need help with this please contact us.
